The Institute for Business in Society recognizes resilient businesses and communities in the Commonwealth of Virginia that are facing challenging economic conditions.

The Tayloe Murphy Resilience Awards Competition salutes and supports winning businesses with:

• Statewide publicity for their business.
• Introductions to lenders, investors and others in Virginia’s business community.
• A fully funded week-long course at Darden’s Executive Education program.

The 2013 competition opens on May 1^st with a deadline for applications of July 31^st.
